  • Spectral analysis: Assess panel degradation and potential internal defects not visible to the naked eye
  • Vegetation encroachment: Monitor plant growth that could shade or interfere with panel performance

Issue Detection and Resolution

Using dedicated GPU deployed AI to identify:

  • Hot spots: Localized areas of high temperature, often indicating cell damage or electrical faults.
  • Bypass diode failures: Appear as entire strings or sections of panels with elevated temperatures.
  • Cell mismatch: Uneven heating across a panel or between adjacent panels.
  • Cracked cells: May show as linear patterns of increased temperature.
  • Soiling or shading: Appear as cooler areas on the panel surface.
